Dr. Mary Choo will be the guest of honour at our 2015 Convent Taiping Alumni Dinner on the 5th December 2015 at the Flemington Hotel. She was a head prefect for Convent Taiping for the year 1965.
Dr. Mary Choo graduated from University of Singapore in 1973 with an MBBS. Subsequently, she obtained her Master of Medicine in Paediatrics in Singapore in the year 1978. She went on to receive the Membership of the Royal College of Physicians in United Kingdom in the year 1980. She was awarded a scholarship to Paris in France for the subspecialty of Paediatric Haematology and Immunology in the year 1979. In 1980, she was the first Paediatrician to open a clinic-style service in Penang.
